CARE IDⓒ Digital Product Passport (DPP) V5 Living Testbed
(16 December 2025 – May 2026)

The 2026 DDP Fashion-Tech Exhibition at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) serves as a public living testbed for CARE IDⓒ Digital Product Passport (DPP) Version 5, examining how customer-facing DPP interfaces are perceived and understood when encountered through physical fashion products. Operated under a programme by the Seoul Business Agency (SBA), the exhibition enables long-duration, real-world observation of item-level DPP deployment using QR and NFC access, supported by ongoing visitor-perception surveys.

Evaluation status. Results for this pilot are currently pending. Visitor-perception data continue to be collected until the exhibition closes in May 2026, focusing on public interaction with DPP V5, including QR versus NFC access patterns, information prioritisation, and user perceptions of interface clarity, trust, and perceived value. A detailed analysis will be published following the exhibition as a standalone case study.
