Dajeong served as President of the NDGC at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), State of New York University (SUNY) Korea and led the development of one of the first student-led sustainable fashion showcases in Songdo, South Korea. The project explored environmentally responsible material practices, including natural dyeing processes and Hanji-based textiles, demonstrating alternative approaches to sustainable fashion design.

Presented at Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo, the show integrated material research, design development, and consumer-oriented considerations, aiming to translate ecological values into contemporary wearable garments. The project reflects an early stage of Dajeong’s ongoing research interest in circular design systems, sustainable material innovation, and the role of design in enabling more responsible fashion production.
